Medical history: Our Practitioner will review your medical history, including any symptoms they're experiencing, menstrual history, and any previous diagnoses or treatments for PCOS.
Physical examination: A physical examination will be performed to assess blood pressure, weight and signs such as excess hair growth, acne, or signs of insulin resistance like skin tags or darkened skin patches.
Diagnostic tests: Depending on your symptoms and medical history, diagnostic tests may be ordered. This could include blood tests to measure hormone levels and glucose levels.
Discussion of treatment options: Based on your symptoms, test results, and reproductive goals, we will discuss treatment options. This may involve lifestyle changes, medications, or referrals to specialists such as endocrinologists or fertility specialists.
Education and counselling: The appointment will include education about PCOS, its potential complications, and the importance of lifestyle modifications in managing symptoms.
